Duferco Diversification is the subsidiary of the Duferco Group, established in 2006, in charge of identifying and implementing new business opportunities in the Belgian area.

Our activities are mainly focused on project development in the fields of energy, environment and activities auxiliary to steel production.

• Regarding Energy, the Company is active on power generation, either from traditional or renewable sources.
  
  
• Currently, Environment aims centre mainly on one activity: remediation of brownfields. It consists of projects to achieve a complete rehabilitation of polluted ex-industrial areas. From year to year, the Company has increased its ability to act as a global brownfield player, either by buying site from the owners or by going into partnership with them.
  
  
• In the field of activities auxiliary to steel production, the most important project in progress is a logistic one, with the construction of a “multimodal platform” in La Louvière (Belgium), which will permit an adequate handling and storage of different goods shipped either by truck, by train or by boat.
